I've been taking karate for about eleven months
now. My style is
Hattatsu Ryu.
I competed in my first tournament in March (2004), at
the CMAWNY Tournament.
Hurray! :)
Most recently, I've been working on a vocabulary
tester, since we need to know the Japanese for the
techniques we use.

Tsukaito (katana hilt wrapping)

I spent about 4 hours on this project. I re-wrapped a friend's
katana. The material used to wrap it is called ito, the
technique is tsukaito (I think!).
